Welcome to Churchill Ciders.
Yellowbelly cider is a new cider introduced this year <2009> by Churchill Ciders and will hopefully prove popular.It is a style of cider that is easy to drink, not too strong and has all the character of a homemade cider. It is made with between 75 and 100% fresh pressed juice, more often than not 100% juice.
The cider is not filtered and therefore sometimes produces a slight sediment but the sediment is neither harmful or detrimental to the taste of the cider, however it is suggested to stand the bottle upright for a while if it has been shaken at all to allow any sediment to settle again at the bottom before pouring off carefully into a glass and enjoying. If the sediment is disturbed it may well cause a cloudy cider, but the taste/flavour is unaffected.Commercially grown apples are sometimes used in the making of Yellowbelly Cider but the amount is kept to a minimum.

Due to the process used most batches are slightly fizzy, this is perfectly natural and is to be enjoyed.
This cider is made with between 75 and 100% fresh pressed juice, depending upon acid levels, strength, sugar content etc.When made from 75% juice it still contains more than some well known commercial ciders, which are thought to contain up to 25% fresh juice and up to 25% concentrate.
Some bottles may contain more sediment than others, this is purely down to the natural method, remember this is a live product, the yeast still being active inside the bottle, no sulphites are used to kill off the yeast.
A very enjoyable, light, tasty, easy to drink cider with natural fizziness.
Remember, still no preservatives, colourants, chemicals or concentrates added.
