Scavenger is a popular cider i make that has a minimum of 50% fresh pressed juice. This particular cider, although not made in the traditional full juice way, still contains much more juice than well known commercial ciders.
Many commercial ciders are thought to contain up to 25% of fresh juice only and added concentrate.
The idea of producing a lower juice content cider is to make it more drinkable to those who find drinking full juice cider too heavy.
Scavenger is a dry cider of 5.5% ABV.
