Welcome to Churchill Ciders.
HEADWRECKER
This is strong stuff. It is still made with locally sourced apples, mixed varieties, and 100% fresh pressed juice but this has had sugar added to take the fermentation on and increase the alcohol up to around the 8% mark. The additional sugar has turned to alcohol so it is still a dry cider.
Not for the faint hearted!
On average about 6oz of sugar per gallon is added to increase the alcohol level to 8 - 8.5%. This is NOT still present in the cider as sugar, it has been converted into alcohol therefore producing a strong, dry cider.
At present this cider is only available to friends and family.
